We’ll kick things off with a pre-wedding consultation to chat through your timeline, priorities, and ideas. From there, I’ll create a tailored quote based on the hours of coverage, any travel or accommodation needs, and any extras you’d like to add.

So how does it work?

1. Say hello

Fill out my contact form with your date, venue, and anything else you think I should know.

I'll get back to you within 24 hours to let you know if I'm free and answer any of your questions

2. Lock in your date

If you'd like to go ahead, I'll send over your contract and invoice. A £250 deposit secures your date in my diary.

This is all done online- nice and easy!

3. We keep in touch

Once you're booked in, I'll set up a WhatsApp group for the three of us. This keeps everything in one place and lets us keep in touch without the formality of email- updates, ideas, timelines, random questions at 2am, all welcome!

4. Pre-Wedding Questionnaire

Around a month before your big day, I'll send over a quick questionnaire to grab all the important details like timings, family group lists, and any must-have shots. I then write up a plan for each wedding to make sure that I capture what matters most to you on the day.

5. final catch-up & balance payment

Once I've got your questionnaire back, we'll have a chat (either in person, on Zoom, or by phone) to go through everything- timings, group shots, any last-minute changes. This keeps us all on the same page so the day feels easy!

6. The Big Day

When the day arrives, I'll be there early, getting to know your guests, keeping things calm and capturing the laughter, the nerves, and the little moments you might miss. I keep everything relaxed and natural, step in only when needed, and make sure you get to actually enjoy your day.

7. Sneak peeks

I'll send over 10-20 preview photos within 48 hours (though usually the next day because I can't wait for you to see them!).

Post them everywhere while I get to work on your full gallery!

8. Final gallery

Your full wedding gallery is delivered online, beautifully curated and edited, ready for you to download and share. It also features a built-in print store for stunning prints, canvasses, and albums.

Contact me

1. Can we print or share our photos?

Of course, you’re free to print and share your photos as much as you like!

(I love it when you tag me too, reading the comments about how incredible you look is such a guilty pleasure)

2. Do you offer pre-booking consultations?

Always! We can either meet up for a coffee/beer if you're nearby (or a video call if you're not) to get to know each other before any decisions are made. There's absolutely no hard selling, after we meet I'll leave you to decide whether we're a good fit!

3. What happens if we need to cancel or postpone our wedding?

Life happens, and I totally understand. If you need to cancel, the deposit is non-refundable as it secures your date in my calendar, but I’m always happy to work with you to reschedule where possible. If you’re postponing and I’m available on your new date, we’ll simply move the booking over—no extra charge. If I’m already booked, I’ll do my best to help you find a trusted photographer who matches my style.

4. how do we book you?

It’s super simple- drop me a message via the contact form or email me at hello@sampittphotography.co.uk. A signed contract and a deposit secures your date!

5. How far in advance should we book?

As soon as you’ve set a date! Popular summer weekends can book up 12–18 months in advance, so the earlier the better.

6. Do you travel for weddings?

Yes! I’m based in Aberdeen but happily travel across Scotland (and beyond!). Travel within 100 miles is included- anything further can be arranged with a small fee of 40p per mile to cover costs.

7. How many photos will we receive?

You’ll receive a carefully curated gallery of at least 500 edited images for full-day coverage, or at least 300 for a half-day. Every photo is hand-edited by me in my bright and colourful style, along with B&W versions of the ones I think look great.

8. How long does it take to get our photos?

You’ll get a sneak peek of 10-20 photos within 48 hours, and your full gallery will be ready within 4–6 weeks. I never rush the editing process- it’s all about quality and storytelling.

9. how would you describe your photography style?

I love bright and colourful photos, my approach is super relaxed, fun, and documentary-focused, photographing genuine moments as they unfold. I focus on storytelling and capturing your day as it was. I want you to look back and feel your wedding day, not just see it!

You can always send me inspo too if you've seen something you'd love to do (but please not that 2004 selective colour thing!)

10. Do you do posed or group photos too?

Of course! While I capture a lot of the day candidly, I always set aside time for group shots and couple portraits.

I'll help you plan your group shot list to keep guests away from the bar for as little time as possible too!

11. how do we secure our date?

A £250 deposit secures your booking and locks the date in my calendar- the remainder then isn't due until 4 weeks before your big day. This is all managed seamlessly through my studio management platform.

12. Do you offer digital files, prints, or albums?

All of the above! A beautiful digital gallery is included in all my packages, with high-quality prints and albums available to order directly through your gallery site.
