Hey, I’m Sam. I’m an Aberdeen-based wedding photographer covering all of Scotland and anywhere else the party takes us.

My philosophy is simple: your wedding day is a huge celebration. You’ve spent months planning a brilliant day with your favourite people, so the last thing I'm going to do is freeze the fun to make you do awkward, old-school poses for hours.

I spend most of my time blending into the background, having a laugh with you and your guests, getting in the middle of the chaotic dance floors, and capturing the real energy of your day as it unfolds.

When it’s time for your portraits, I’ll give you a few easy, natural prompts to keep things relaxed and catch the family photos smoothly so nobody is left standing around forever, letting you get right back to the party.

Whether you’re getting married in the heart of the city, an epic countryside castle, or a tiny spot out in the Highlands that your guests are absolutely going to struggle to pronounce. If you just want to have a laugh and get amazing photos without the fuss, I’m completely up for it!
